This group is about getting information about climbing Kilimanjaro and Tanzanian safaris led by Macon Dunnagan who has led 26 climbs up the highest mountain in Africa. He goes back to climb Kilimanjaro for the 27 time in June.
Although our mainstay is hiking we've also been biking, camping, kayaking, walking and eating with cameras. Just about anything outdoorsy with camera included. The trails we choose range from easy to moderately strenuous and almost all include rocks, roots, and elevation changes. On hikes we do the buddy system which allows more opportunities to take pictures as photographers are of a very curious nature and tend to wander off. Cameras are not required but highly recommended.
