This group is for people who love to travel, have lived abroad, and/or are new to America and want other people to share their experiences with other travelers. The process of coming back/moving to America can be difficult, and it is great to have a group of people you can talk to, and who understand what you are going through. Hello, My name is Jim. I have been a member of various groups on and off over the last few years but thought I would start a group of my own. I am going to be listing "Meetup's" for: Cinema, Live Theater, Sporting events, Dining, Wine Tasting, Cultural Activities, Fairs, Concerts, Trade Events, Road Trips, Fitness, Learning events or classes, Festivals and any other fun things I can think of and have free time to list and share with others that want to get out and do something fun. : )

We coordinate wild mushroom hunts for our members in the Grand Rapids area in addition to seminars on cultivation. Grand Rapids area means maximum one hour travel time from the heart of the city. Occasionally we'll organize longer trips, far away from Grand Rapids, when conditions in the area are not good or conditions in other areas are great.
