This is a friendly travel/social group for likeminded travelers in San Francisco who share a passion for travel to overseas destinations worldwide or those who may be thinking about world travel for the first time. Let's call it a travellers rest for the work weary who prefer to think and talk about the world of travel after a hard day at the office! We meet monthly for a drink or two in the city, to socialize, relive adventures, share travel stories, tips and thoughts about exciting places that we've visited or plan to visit in the near future. We don't arrange slide shows, organize group trips or push commercial ventures on you. What we do is meet, enjoy each others company, and remind ourselves why people who travel the world are such good fun to be around. However you prefer to travel, if you want to meet new friends who share your passion for travel then we hope to see you at an SFWT event soon.

SFWT - Early June meet up
We'll be meeting again at our regular haunt, The Holding Company (THC) for our Early June SFWT Meet Up. The venue has a large bar and a separate annex (back bar) where us 'leisure refugees' get together. When you head in the door just let the venue greeter know that you are with our group and head round to the left side of the bar - you'll see us loitering with intent in the back bar grinning inanely!
