We tried our best to arrange groupings the best way we could. It is possible the groupings can change a little.
We tried to figure out who is male or female but some names it is difficult to guess. If you prefer to be in female only or male only room, please let us know by email ([masked]) asap.
The ( ) indicated money owed to you. 5 means 5000 won. We will try to take care of the refunds on the bus by the bus leaders. If it cannot be done on the bus we will try to do it after arriving at mudfest or on the return bus. Please have ID with you when confirming the refund.
Last year the mudfest action was at the citizen's tower plaza. The citizen’s tower plaza is at the southern end of the 3 km stretch of sandy white beach. This year it is at Yeo In Plaza which is about 1.2km north of the citizen’s tower plaza along the beach. Yeo In Plaza is also about 700 meters south of the fountain plaza.
Our lodging places (3 buildings) are next to each other and only 350meters north of Mud Plaza and one street behind the beach. So we are only 1minute (80 meter) walk from the beach and very close to the mud action. And there are lots of restaurants and convenience stores all around on this side of the beach as well.
We will have a cooking team who will work with some local help to offer food during the weekend. Cheddar Cheese Burger, Chili Cheese Dog, Breakfast Burritos. If you have been on one of my trips and would like to be part of the cooking team please let me know. Will give you discount for a future trip.
Just FYI: Pensions and resorts are very much farther away from the action and beach so beware when comparing to other mudfest accommodations. Not many accommodations are this close to the new mudfest action location.
There is a lot of new construction going on in this area so by mudfest time things should look quite nice.
Also now we have a Busan departure bus. It will depart at 7AM from Hopo station Exit #1. The bus costs more from Busan (4 hrs 30min instead of 2hr 15min from Seoul). So the pricing for Busan departure is 10,000 won more than the Seoul departure.
The new mudfest per person pricing will be as follows:
59,000 for spot in 9 to 15 person room and Sat 7:30AM Seoul departure.
69,000 for spot in 5 to 7 person room and Sat Seoul departure.
74,000 for spot in 4 person room on the floor and Sat Seoul departure.
79,000 for sharing a bed or floor in a 4 person room and Sat Seoul departure.
Add 10,000 from above for Busan Saturday 7AM departure.
Subtract 20,000 from above if you will not use the round trip bus and only accomodation.
Pay 35,000 won for using just the round trip bus service from Seoul.
Pay 45,000 won for using just the round trip bus service from Busan.

Food is not included. There are many restaurants and convenience stores all around. Also we plan to prepare food to be sold next to the lodging. We have not figured out what is the right price but will post it as soon as we figure it out.

I think everyone by now has heard of the annual mudfest. This year it will kick off 7/17.
Information on last year mud fest in english:
The key to enjoying the mudfest is to get lodging close to the action so you go in and out as you wash off and change clothes and join up with people and share the food.
The schedule is as follows:
Bus will be there to let people in the bus.
Depart Express Bus Terminal Station Exit #8-2.
Express Bus Terminal is where lines #3, #7, #9 meet.
We will implement a 1000 won per minute penalty per person after 7:30AM. The bus will leave at 7:40AM regardless if everyone is on the bus or not.
We will not be making a stop on the way since it should be about a 2 hour 10min bus ride.
Busan Departure is at 7AM. And departs from Deokcheon Station (where lines #2 and #3 meet). The two buses will be waiting for you in between Exit #5 and #7).
10AM (or so)
Arrive Mud Fest
Busan buses will arrive later. 11AM or so?
4PM to 5PM
Depart Mud Fest (We will have multiple buses. We cannot know if you have decided to stay longer or leave earlier. So we cannot wait for you unless you have contacted the bus leader in advance. Even if we did wait we would not wait more than 10 minutes.)
7PM or later depending on traffic.
We will have a bus leader per each bus who will coordinate and answer questions you may have. Please do not make requests to the bus driver directly. (기사님한테 직접 요청하지 않으셨으면 합니다)
If you are coming on Line #7 it is a long way to Exit #8-2 so please arrive early.
If you are looking for coffee or food because you arrived early, there is a 24hr McDonalds inside underground not too far from Exit #8. Look for signs that take you in the direction of Central City or JW Marriot Hotel. You can get lost in there so please be early.

1. EVERYONE MUST be member and must RSVP YES to be eligible to go. (CANNOT RSVP for someone else.) RSVP YES does not mean you have a spot on the bus.
2. If # of spots remaining is less than 5 (show at top of this post) then send me an email ([masked]) to check if there is room for you.
3. Deposit the amount as shown above. Only a deposit AND email confirmation guarantees space!
You can deposit for someone else or someone else can deposit for you. (to confirm your deposit, check for name on the DEPOSIT CONFIORMATION LIST)
You can use ATM to make the deposit if you or your friend has an ATM card.
If you dont know how to make a deposit please ask a Korean friend to help you. Your Korean friend can make the deposit for you using their ATM.
Also please do not write "trip" or something like that for the deposit. Then it comes in as "trip" and I do not know who made the deposit.
4. Send email ([masked]) saying you made how much deposit from which bank for which trip on which date. And also please include your cell phone #.
Also please include your middle name. The deposit shows up in my account with sometimes just 4 letters. Sometimes it is the first 4 letters of your middle name. So please let me know exactly what it says on your account in full. Please indicate which is middle name and which is last name and first name because sometimes that is difficult to know.
Also please indicate if you are male or female.
Include Alien Registration Card (ARC) # so I can get insurance for you. It is extra travel insurance in case something happens. Its less than 1000 won and included in the trip only if you send me the info.
If you do not have a ARC card then please provide passport# and birthdate (YYMMDD format i.e. 800429).
Please do not combine email with other trips. PLEASE REMEMBER TO SEND ONE EMAIL FOR EACH TRIP. AND~ Please include the name of the trip in the SUBJECT line!
Once we receive the email and we can confirm the deposit we will add your name to the deposit list. Once your name shows up on the deposit list, then your spot in confirmed. If you make a deposit but do not send the email, that spot may get filled by someone else.
Please keep in mind travel insurance does not cover horse riding nor ATV riding nor bike riding nor any other "risky" activities.
