Hello again and here's news on our next Meetup!

Welcome to this unique Meetup Newbies, and find out what is this all about!?!laughing

I've organized for Wedesday, 6th May at 6.15pm to be the next Meet up at Camino Bar again.
Here's a link: http://www.barcamino....
It's just 3 minutes walk from Kings Cross station, and we'll have a Sangria reception as usual.

I hope to have at least 4 'veterans' who have done a Vaughantown program in either Gredos or Salamanca so you can meet them and ask about about their experiences. Here's a link to a 13-minute documentary video to give you an idea of how the Vaughantown program works: http://ian.vaughantow... ... scroll down and click on the video to check out who the english speakers and Spaniards are!

If you want to go, you'll need to apply quickly, as now we've filled all programs in May, June, and most of July!! That's how popular these programs are!! We are continuously recruiting volunteers for Vaughantown and while you can apply well in advance for ANY program in 2009, we are filling places for July and August at the moment. You will need to apply online on our website below.
To apply, go to the DATES/SIGN UP page on http://ian.vaughantow... ... and please mention MEETUP in your application.

Meet ups are relaxed and laid back, and will basically consist of myself presenting the program and an informal Q&A. We're hoping to have about 4 Vaughantown 'veterans' joining us next Monday- meet them and put your worries to rest!
People who have been to Vaughantown, you are ALL very welcome to stop by, have a drink and chat to the new members...

Below is the availability for our July programs as of 29th April. Programs typically fill up 2 1/2 months in advance, so if you are interested in any of the programs below, apply immediately to secure a place. If you are interested in programs from August onwards, please go to the above website to check dates, as we have about 5 programs every month until December.
*there are 15 english speakers and 15 Spaniards in each program

GREDOS (country-side location- 4-star accommodation):

5 - 10 July (2 places available)
19 - 24 July/26 - 31 July (FULL)

SALAMANCA (city-center location- 4-star accommodation):

5 - 10 July (FULL)
12 - 17 July (3 places available)
19 - 24 July (FULL)
26 - 31 July (4 places available)

The Meet ups are the place to find out more about programs in 2009, so, if you'd like to attend, but can't get to the meet up on the 6th May, just apply directly online to secure a place, and contact me on 07931 131208 - and I'll go through any questions you may have.

So join us for Sangria, meet people and 'Vaughantown veterans', and find out about this fantastic experience. All members and friends, partners and family are invited to this meet up - please do take a minute to RSVP, so I can prepare accordingly.

Cheers and see ya at the Meetup!

    •  It was well organised. Tables were reserved and it felt very welcoming for someone new. There were two girls who had been to the spainish english speaking experience before and they were just lovely; they shared their experience and gave you tips for what you should to do to better your experience. Above all everyone were very very honest about everything. This is something i really want to do and i also know members of my family and freinds will be interested in this experience. I am glad that i went.
