WELCOME NEWBIES!!

What a great Meet up we had at CAMINO in King's Cross! Our first one in this side of town and a great success... Authentic feel Spanish bar, lots of interested people meet lots of Vaughantown 'veterans over Sangria... good end to a Monday then!!laughing

I've organized Monday, 6th April at 6.15pm to be the next Meet up at Camino again.
Here's a link: http://www.barcamino..... It's less than 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross station.
As we'll have our own section, the music won't be blaring, and we'll have a Sangria reception as usual.

I hope to have about 4 'veterans' who have done a Vaughantown program so you can meet them and ask about about their experiences. Here's a link to a 13-minute documentary video to give you an idea of how the Vaughantown program works: http://ian.vaughantow....

We've now filled all of the April and May programs. We are continuously recruiting volunteers for our programs and while you can apply well in advance for any program in 2009, we are taking applications for June, July and August programs at the moment. You will need to apply online on our website below.
To apply, go to the DATES/SIGN UP page on http://ian.vaughantow... and please mention MEETUP in your application.

Meet ups are relaxed and laid back, and will basically consist of myself presenting the program and an informal Q&A. We're hoping to have about 4 Vaughantown 'veterans' joining us next Monday- meet them and put your worries to rest!
People who have been to Vaughantown, you are ALL very welcome to stop by, have a drink and chat to the new members...

Below is the availability for our Summer programs as at 30th March. Programs typically fill up 2 1/2 months in advance, so if you are interested in any of the programs below, apply immediately to secure a place.

    •  Those I talked to were friendly, helpful and informative. I picked up some useful tips from them about both the programme and the venue.
    •  Fantastic! It gave me a more detailed insight to what the program is about. I know where my my next holiday is going to be! Can't wait to get out there and see what this fantastic program is all about first hand.

Another great Meetup, the Sangria is much better at Camino is'nt it! - thanks to Debbie, Tony, Hilary and Sheila for coming along and meeting all the newbies. Book now for summer!!
    •  A good introduction with plenty of enthusiastic people available to answer questions!
    •  It sounds like a great way to experience the Spanish culture- the 'veterans' assured us that there is no catch in the whole setup. BUT, I think its a full time job doing the program, they give you boarding lodging for the time ur on the job. So it could be a great way to spend a week in Spain, but it certainly isnt one week of vacation. Anyhow, I feel its a great idea.

Quite an informative meetup. Everyone there was really nice. It was very kind of the Vaughantown verterans to give up their time to talk to people about their experiences - it all sounded pretty good
