Nomad Chicks January Meetup / Sunday Brunch

Hi there - Smiths of Smithfields ground floor is the venue of our January meetup and is a good place for Sunday brunch. Unfortunately, you can't book a table so we will just have to turn up and chance our luck with tables! It does get pretty busy on the weekends though and that's why I have changed the meetup from 1pm to 11am in the hope that we will have a better chance of getting a table and finding seats if we go earlier. If we struggle with seats, we can always go to one of the floors upstairs which are more expensive but should have tables.

I am in the course of organising the long weekend trip to Marrakech from 30 Jan to 2 Feb and so a few of us will no doubt be discussing that.

At the January meetup, I will also be asking everyone about whether they are interested in Turkey some time after April 2009.

I think we've given up on the ski trip for now - there doesn't seem to be enough interest. I am sure everyone has received emails from me and so will let me know if they want to go skiing, to Marrakech or anywhere else.

As you can see, the waiting list for this meetup is now really long so if you're no longer coming, please could you change your RSVP so someone else can have your space!

Can I just remind you all that you can all use the message board to post any ideas, tips or questions for other members.
