Nomad Chicks December meetup / Christmas dinner

Hi everyone

Just to let you all know that the Nomad Chicks December meetup / Christmas dinner will be in the private dining room of a fab restaurant called Mildreds in Soho. Check out the website at www.mildreds.co.uk for more details of the place. The dinner will be on Friday 19 December at 7.30pm.

Hopefully, this will suit most of you and won't clash with your work Christmas parties.

There will be a limit of 24 people for this meetup - RSVP soon if you would like to come! However, could I ask that you please please only RSVP "yes" once you have checked that you are definitely free on that date and if you are sure you are going to come. If you do RSVP "yes", can I also ask that you give me at least 3 days' notice if you change your mind so that someone else can have your space and so that we can all budget accordingly. Sorry to be so fussy about this but there is a minimum spend of 250 pounds for the room and if people drop out at the last minute, it affects how much the rest of us will be paying! I also have to call the restaurant the day before and ask them to set up the private room for the correct number of people.

Agenda for the December meetup:

1. where we are going in January for our weekend trip

2. getting people committed to the Sierra Nevada trip for which we should book shared accommodation by the end of December to get the best prices and locations

3. usual sharing of travel tips and finding out who has trips planned and whether they are looking for travel buddies / advice

4. discussing when people would like to go to Turkey (currently planned for some time after April)

5. Ideas for where to have February's meetup.
