King Henry's Tudor Joust

Witness the majesty, pomp and pageantry as Henry VIII arrives at Eltham Palace and Gardens once again. Join us as we return to the year 1509 and enjoy a day of royal entertainment. Hear the thundering hooves, clashing lances and roaring crowds as knights compete for the King’s favour. Visitors can also enjoy spectacular Tudor falconry and a thrilling display of Tudor hunting games. Outside the Great Hall of the Palace, courtly music will fill the air and you will be transported back to Tudor times as you see dancing displays and Tudor folk in their finery.

Booking of tickets in advance is advisable, but they can also be purchased on the day at Eltham Palace.

Sarah will be wearing a pink baseball cap and standing at the entrance of the Palace at 11.45-12 noon
