Introduction: Hello Train Enthusists, I have lived in Missouri - near La Plata since 1981. For years my family and I watched the trains cross through our town until they pulled up the tracks in the early 1990's. A real sad time for us. Well we have La Plata!
Please tell us how you are involved with railroads or travel. Do you like to travel by train, build model railroads, railfan, work in the rail or travel industry or other?: I am a Museum Director at the Medical School (A.T. Still University in Kirksville), and I was invited to be on the Board of Trustees for the Silver Rail Museums. This will be great. My current exhbit on the human body can be seen here: www.healerwithin.org I love to travel by train and watching model train sets - the best i have seen is in Wichita, Kansas at the Exploratorium Museum.
