Meeting Description

Who

Anyone who has limited or no experience in kayaking.

Why

Interested in learning how to paddle around in a kayak?

Organized by

Margo and MATS

Details

MATS will be offering a kayaking lesson through the Chicago River Paddle. The lesson will be focused on basic strokes. The lesson will also focus on getting you to move more efficiently and turning easily in the water. Afterwards, enjoy a paddle upriver. MATS will be running several more kayak trips. The Board highly recommends that you take this class before joining us on some of our more rigourous trips. Parking on weeknights is easy, right on Rockwell.
The lesson will be at 3400 N. Rockwell at 7 and will last till 830

The cost of the lesson is:
$30 for non-members
$25 for members
$10 per person with a boat

I will be cutting off the sign-up on Thursday 5/15/08 to give a final number to Chicago River Paddle.
