Join us for another Chicago Blues Tour! Many of us have attended these events in the past. This is a terrific opportunity to check out a number of Chicago Blues venues by bus! There are pros and cons to this type of event, with some complaining that we do not spend much time at any one venue. But the opportunity to hit some or all of these places by bus, along with thirty of your closest MATS friends, outweighs those concerns! Heck, if we really love one or more of the venues, we can catch a later ride back to the start.
If this event interests you, check out the tour website. Secure your ticket before RSVP'ing "Yes". Most of us in the Yes column have purchased tickets as a group with a great discount. But at this point, the discount ticket window is closed. You may still be able to get tickets the link belowif they have not sold out on the full price tickets! The MATs group will be on the 7:30 bus to Lyndas. Don't worry too much about what bus you get on. We will all be scattered by the end of the night! That's part of the fun.
The Tour ticket gets you on the bus and into the venues. Drinks and/or food are on your own. Several busses run in a circuit, delivering guests to the various places. You get on and off wherever you wish. Just don't miss the last bus back to the point of origin. If you've had too much fun and forget to hop on the last bus, I do not claim liability. We will not be babysitting you, but only facilitating your enjoyment with the group!
Finally, you should know that the Chicago Blues are truly a great cultural experience. Especially if you are new to Chicago or have spent your life in the burbs, now is your chance to experience a true Chicago treat.
