Indiana Sand Dunes Hiking and Cabins

PAYMENT NEEDED WITH "YES" RSVP. Please understand when we plan these trips we need to pay a deposit early and then pay The Learning Center in full so MATS needs your payment as soon as possible.

We are planning a short weekend at the sand dunes area an hour from Chicago. We're staying at the Indiana Dunes Enviromental Learning Center from Friday eve. til Sunday afternoon.
We have 5 cabins and use of a large dining building. A few guides/naturalists will be provided for the day and night hikes. Possible pizza at the dining hall or a restaurant for dinner and Saturday and Sunday breakfast provided at the dining hall. $95 for non members, $75 for dues paid members.

The short travel distance and low cost should make this trip doable for those looking for an easy getaway.

Arrive around 7 - 9 Fri eve. and get settled in. Breakfast provided by Learning Center Sat. morn. Then gather for an hike around the area. We'll agree on lunch arrangements, maybe a restaurant nearby, either Wagners BBQ, Lucretia or ? Chill afterwards and whoever is up to it we'll have a night hike led by a naturalist. To finish the day there will be a bon-fire a short few minutes hike from the cabins.

Sunday will start with a breakfast provided by the Learning center, then another hike led by naturalist. We might visit the historic farm "Bailly's homestead".

There will be time in between activities to relax and enjoy the wilderness acreage around this place.

The Learning Center needs a commitment and money so get on board and pay immediately.
We need a mininum of 15 and Mats needs to pay the Learning center by August 8.
