Virginia Wood Trail Hike

RAIN CANCELLED: TO BE RESCHEDULED> Monday night July 14 we will join a schedule hike planned by the Mass. DCR in the Middlesex Fells, one of Massachusetts greatest public resources. The hikes are always interesting and informative and a great way to explore our own beautiful woods here in Mass without traveling to New Hampshire for the experience. The organization does a great job in educating the public and in preserving our forests.

The hike is a moderate hike and goes from 5:30-7:00PM. The hike meets at the parking lot near the intersection of Woodland Road and Pond Street in Stoneham (not far from the Stone Zoo.) We will be taking the Virginia Wood Trail. I suggest you try to get there a little early to make sure you get a parking spot. Rain will cancel this event. Please review the link for further details.
