Come meet and chat with other travel and outdoors minded people at this month's meeting to be held near Bethlehem/Center Valley!

(Really, it's just an excuse to throw back one or two after a long week!) ;)

Last month, we had our Mixer at an upscale and metro lounge. To mix things up a bit, we've chosen the Spring Valley Inn which is quaint and located in a country setting just off of 378 on the border of Center Valley & Bethlehem.

The Mixer will be held outdoors in their garden. (Should we get rain, we'll be placed in the Belvedere room (outdoors tent) which will be able to accommodate a group this size.)

The Spring Valley Inn is an old restaurant that has been around since the early 1800's and has a friendly and warm atmosphere. The Inn houses their own trout and is known for various trout specialties.

As always, a full bar will be available as well as the full menu. To make things easy on you, we've asked the Inn to make up a small one pager w/the most popular appetizers from which you can choose when you arrive. Please note that you are responsible for your drinks and your appetizers. Please tip the waitstaff appropriately.

FOR PARKING:
If you think of the building as the center, there is parking across the street. There is a lot at 1 o'clock that holds 10 cars. There is a driveway in that lot that allows for 12 more cars. At the 6 o'clock position, there are another 10 spots. The alley that runs alongside the resturaunt leads to Spring Valley Road. If you cross Spring Valley Road, the Spring Valley Sportsman's Club is on the other side. If the other lots are full, that is overflow parking.

Thanks for the support, GG & Robin. If we get into a pinch or something I'll know you two will come through! ;) Until then, I prefer to be chill about it and allow everyone to do what they want to do. People should feel free to give and free not to give. There are a lot of new folk at Mixers that don't yet know our group and don't know if they want to commit just yet. We need to give them room to know us and they'll come to realize in time that the buck is well worth it. :)

The Mixers mare the informal meet & greet for new members (& old). Many new members come out to our Mixers. This way, new members can get to know us better, talk about the Club and its events, and decide what events they'd like to attend. The Club is barely 3 months old so a lot of us don't know each other well, even if we're not "new" members. I think you'll find that you are warmly welcomed at the Mixer and that it's a good place to start if you're new. Maybe you can make our next one?

I'm just wondering if there could be some sort of gathering for new members and informal meet and greet with the sole purpose of introducing new members?

To help defray the cost of running this group, we are suggesting a donation of $1 for most of our meetups scheduled.
