San Francisco Travel Book Club and Lecture Series

This is an exciting meet up for seasoned globetrotters and armchair travelers alike! We feature books and speakers to inspire you if you are currently dreaming of "hitting the road" as well as provide necessary resources for planning and realizing that trip of a lifetime. Our focus is connecting travel enthusiasts from around the Bay Area so we can all share resources, contacts and ideas in support of each other's travel aspirations!

Our Book Club meets on the first Wednesday of every month at a local Books, Inc. location. Lecture Series events will be scheduled according to the speaker's availability.

Upcoming titles include Bad Lands: A Tourist on the Axis of Evil by Tony Wheeler and The Sex Lives of Cannibals: Adrift in the Equatorial Pacific by J. Maarten Troost.

Upcoming speakers include David Elliot Cohen, author of One Year Off: Leaving it All Behind for a Round-the-World Journey with Our Children and Rolf Potts, author or Vagabonding: An Uncommon Guide to the Art of Long-term World Travel.
